The Ikarus 280 was a Hungarian articulated bus produced from 1973 until the early 21st century. With a capacity of up to 160 passengers, it became one of the most widespread city buses in Eastern Europe. It was exported to dozens of countries including Czechoslovakia, the USSR and East Germany. Powered by a Rába-MAN diesel engine and simple design. Some units still operate or are preserved in museums.
