Clothes with motifs Railcar 854
Class 854 resulted from modernising Classes 852/853 at Pars nova Šumperk; the prototype was rebuilt in 1997 and series conversions ran until 2006 (50 units). A Caterpillar 3412 E engine with hydrodynamic transmission was fitted, giving a top speed of 120 km/h. Interiors have 48 seats and a luggage area; later units received closed-system toilets. The class works semi-fast and local services, with some duties gradually taken over by newer units. Many vehicles carry individual names painted above the headlight.
