The Canadair/Bombardier Challenger is a twin-engine business jet in production since 1978, originally by Canadair and later Bombardier. The prototype first flew on 8 November 1978. Known for its modern avionics and long range, the Challenger excels in long-distance flights even under busy or remote operating conditions. The Czech Air Force operated the CL-601-3A variant for VIP transport. The aircraft features three independent hydraulic systems for flight controls, landing gear, and brakes, enhancing reliability.
